10 miles of exercise requires a reward
Woke up at 4:30 am and headed out the door. I felt great running before work. It was a good run. My legs were feeling the distance from the weekend but I ran solid and besides stopping to tie my shoe ran the whole way at a very steady pace.
I started out well, but after a half-mile it felt like my legs were weighted down with concrete blocks but I fought the need to stop and kept running. I slowed after mile 3 but kept going and finished well. My first nonstop 5 mile run in a very long time.
A week or so off and decided to go out for 5 miles. It hurt but I ran virtually the whole way and felt pretty darn good.
