I ran 4 times this week and this was my final run. It was a good run. I felt strong the whole way. I’m hoping the pattern and habit is coming back.
I decided to run 3 days in a row. Don’t know what came over me but I really felt like it would be a good idea. I was tired, my legs were sore but I headed out the door. It wasn’t quite as cold as the past 2 days and I immediately seemed to find my rhythm out the door. The music surrounded me and picked me up as I continued to get into the groove.
At about a half mile I felt less sore, my knees were not screaming at me anymore.
I ran a solid 2 miles without a lot of pain. Then the last mile was a bit difficult. I ran well and continued until I finished without any type of kick. I’m now sore, but feeling pretty good about the run.
I’m hoping this will be the kick in the ass I’ve needed to get into shape.
